Wedding Photographer in Salt Lake City: Jo and Sumner’s Romantic Adventure
In March of 2021, as a destination wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of traveling to Antelope Island, just outside of Salt Lake City, Utah, to do an engagement shoot with Jo and Sumner. You could tell right off the bat how much this particular couple was just in love with each other. It was EASY for me to have them hold each other and “go in for a kiss”, because that was all they wanted to do.
Acro Yoga and Love at Antelope Island
I found this field just outside of the park which held Antelope Island, and we initially started our session there. I quickly learned they love doing acro yoga, which, as you can see from one of the photos, takes quite a bit of trust and skill on both their parts. No doubt this metaphor translates into the love they have for each other!
Sunset Photoshoot at Antelope Island: A Wedding Photographer in Salt Lake City’s Dream
Once we felt we had some amazing photos and videos done there, we moved into the park and found a lake where we finished off the session. This was right around sunset, so we had to move fast before the sun completely went down on us. As a wedding photographer in Salt Lake City, I was able to get Jo and Sumner to interact with each other in a way that just showed both their personalities and the bubble of their love, which I always find special and amazing.
